As Chair of Healthwatch Greater Manchester, my focus is on amplifying the voices of local communities, heard through the local Healthwatch Network to shape the future of health and social care. By actively listening and responding to community feedback, we have driven meaningful improvements, positively impacting lives. Together as a Healthwatch Network across Greater Manchester, we champion the principles of inclusion and transparency, making sure that local people’s concerns and experiences lead to tangible, lasting changes.
Chief Coordinating Officer – Danielle Ruane
As Chief Coordinating Officer for Healthwatch in Greater Manchester, I lead GM collaboration across our 10 local Healthwatch to ensure lived experience and community voice is heard across the Integrated Care System (ICS). I also oversee the operational functions of the GM Network, aligning strategic and delivery efforts, strengthening partnerships, and championing lived experience as a driver for meaningful change in health and care services. Together, we work to improve outcomes and empower people to shape the support they receive.
