World Patient Safety Day is a campaign for all stakeholders in the health care system to work together and share engagement to improve patient safety.
The Objectives of World Patient Safety Day 2024 are to :
- Increase public awareness and commitment to patient safety
- Improve understanding of patient safety
- Promote global solidarity and action
- Address specific patient safety issues
One of the critical aspects of patient safety is the accurate diagnosis and treatment of illnesses. Unfortunately, misdiagnosis can sometimes occur, where individuals may be incorrectly diagnosed, as in cases of cancer or mental health conditions. We are keen to hear from anyone who has experienced a situation like this and would welcome your input.
