Work With Us

We believe that building and maintaining strong connections with all levels of the ICS, diverse groups, those with lived experience, and those who are seldom heard enhances our ability to understand and advocate for the needs of all residents.

We believe that meaningful engagement is vital in planning health and care

Our success in this is achieved by:

  • Having local trust and in-reach to our communities
  • Showing our independence and being locally responsive
  • Using innovative and creative ways to reach people
  • Being integral to the health and care economy

We make meaningful engagement a fact:

  • When we gather rich and useful information from people
  • Through providing a true picture of health and care needs

And we do this in partnership across Greater Manchester

Greater Manchester Integrated Care Board:

The Partnership Agreement with Healthwatch GM has enabled us to strengthen our engagement work and ensure that we truly work together to identify and respond to the needs of our people and communities.  Healthwatch brings the voice of communities directly to the ICB and we work together to respond appropriately.  The partnership also means we have a platform to codesign engagement and this has included programmes of work such as the Big Conversation and Fit for the Future, enabling us to ensure that we get the conversations right and engage in a meaningful way.  All of this has been invaluable in supporting us to deliver People and Communities Participation Strategy.”
