Healthwatch in Greater Manchester have launched an important new project, lead by Healthwatch Bury to improve support for men living with or affected by prostate cancer.
As part of this project, we’re inviting men from across Greater Manchester to share their personal experiences of the prostate cancer pathway; from screening, experience with treatment through to recovery and ongoing support.
Your own lived experience and stories can help raise awareness, highlight gaps in care, and shape better, more responsive services in our community.
How?
You can share your experiences in a number of ways:
- Complete the Survey
- Join the focus group which is every third Wednesday of the month, held in person at Healthwatch Bury offices: 56-58 Bolton Street, Bury, BL9 0LL. The focus group is running from September to December. Confirm your attendance by calling Healthwatch Bury on 0161 253 6300 or emailing info@healthwatchbury.co.uk
- Share your individual stories, in a way you feel comfortable with your local Healthwatch in Greater Manchester, which you can find access to here
Your voice matters. Together we can use lived experience to push for practical improvements across Greater Manchester.
