Healthwatch Oldham has continued to champion the voices of local residents despite the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19. The team has been instrumental in gathering feedback on key issues such as access to NHS dental services, cancer care during the pandemic, and support for those living with dementia.
Throughout the year, Healthwatch Oldham engaged with the community through surveys like Healthwatch Oldham 100, focus groups, and outreach sessions. They published several influential reports and partnered with local groups, such as the Oldham Safeguarding Adults Team, to address health inequalities and improve accessibility for vulnerable populations.
