Healthwatch Rochdale continued its mission to ensure local voices are heard in the improvement of health and social care services across the borough. Despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the team and volunteers adapted to virtual and innovative ways of working.
Throughout the year, they engaged with 496 people, conducted 7 surveys, and provided information and advice to 552 people. Projects included launching Youthwatch Rochdale, advocating for the needs of refugees and asylum seekers, and addressing issues with local GP services.
