Healthwatch Tameside undertook a survey about delays to care since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. They received 79 responses.
The report looks at:
What conditions people have delayed asking for help with as a result of the pandemic
Whether the care had been delayed by the service itself
What care people were waiting for
How long people had been waiting for and what type of appointment they were waiting for
The problems that the wait has caused
The support provided in the interim to manage the person’s condition
Whether people had got an appointment or treatment now
Whether people had been given enough information about their delay in care
